INTER-BAU CONSTRUCTION LIMITED is a subsidiary of Landgold Holdings Limited, which is a well-known multifaceted business organization.

Inter-Bau is Nigeria’s leading indigenous construction company, whose history dates back to the early eighties with the establishment of its operational base in the Delta State Capital of Asaba. The company was thus founded in response to the increase in demand of construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of roads in the country following the oil boom and the corresponding growth in all other sectors of the economy.

At INTER-BAU, our major areas of specialization include Civil/Highway construction and engineering works, Building and engineering construction, Bridges and allied structures, Flood and Erosion control works, Architectural/Structural design works as well as consultancy services in relation to construction engineering. INTER-BAU has a proven record of providing quality and cost-efficient service in all these areas of specialization and continues to adapt and respond positively to challenges faced by Nigerian infrastructural development.

SIR NATH OKECHUKWU (CHAIRMAN)

Sir Nath Okechukwu is the Founder, Proprietor, Chairman and Chief Executive of Inter-Bau Construction Limited. He is a renowned businessman and has been a key player in the construction industry for over three decades. He is an experienced administrator with diverse interest in pharmaceutical business, insurance, engineering consultancy and merchandise.

Sir Nath Okechukwu has at various times held board appointments in notable Federal Government and private sector organizations like Central Water Transport Corporation (CWTC), Premium Securities Limited, etc. He has a wide knowledge of the socio-economic landscape of the country.

At various times he attended intensive National and International Courses and Seminars on Road and bridge Construction, Financial Management and Administration.

Mr Kingsley O. Okechukwu

Kingsley is the Managing Director of Inter-Bau and has over 14 years experience working in the construction industry. Kingsley is also the Vice-Chairman, Board of Trustees, Inter-Bau Foundation, a non-profit organisation established to train and empower women and youths with practical construction skills while bridging the gender gap in the construction sector in Nigeria. A graduate of Kings College Lagos, Sir Wilfred Laurier High School Ottawa, Canada who also possesses an Honorary degree in Business Administration from De Montfort University UK.

 

Mr Kenneth. C. Okechukwu

He is an Executive Director (Business Development) in Inter-bau. For over a decade, he oversees the business development operations of the company which has executed major construction projects such as, airports, seaports, roads, bridges and buildings for the federal and state government of Nigeria. He is an astute and dynamic entrepreneur and is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. Kenneth holds an Honorary Bachelor’s  degree in Public Administration from the prestigious University of Abuja and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the Prestigious University of Lagos.

 
 
 
 

Doris U. Mbadiwe (LLM)

Doris is an Executive Director (Corporate/Legal) in Inter-Bau .She is also member Board of Trustees, Inter-Bau Foundation – a non-profit organisation established to train and empower women and youths with practical construction skills while bridging the gender gap in the construction sector in Nigeria. She is Construction Sector Lead, Nigeria & West Africa, Women in Infrastructure community (WICA). Doris Mbadiwe, is also Co-founder of Afrigrants, a development finance and capacity building social enterprise. Her prior working stints include, United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Lagos; the prestigious law firm of Ajumogobia & Okeke. Doris is a distinguished member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ISCAN) and a member of Amnesty International. She holds an Honorary Bachelor’s degree in Law, Carleton university, Ottawa Canada, Barrister-at-Law degree, University of Buckingham UK, and a Master of Laws Degree (Law & Development), University of London (UCL)

 

Engr Kenneth O. Onyema

Kenneth is an Executive Director (Projects ) in Inter-Bau. He is also Chairman, Inter-bau Foundation, a non-profit organization.
Some prior working stints include working at the British construction firm Taylor Woodrow Nig Limited as a Design Engineer, Valma Nigeria Limited, a Dredging, Trading and Real Estate Company as Managing Director, Chairman of Equilink International Limited, a firm specialized in the provision of complete engineering works and services. He is a member of several professional associations such as, the Nigerian Association of Technologists in Engineering, the Society of Construction Industry Arbitrators, member Board of Trustees,Attorney-Mediators Association, a distinguished member of the Nigerian Bar Association, member, Association of Professional Negotiators and Mediators, member,Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and the Lagos Court of Arbitration. Kenneth graduated from Ohio University, Athens Ohio USA as a Civil Engineer and subsequently obtained an MBA in Finance and Management from Marshall University, Huntington West Virginia USA.
